FC Bayern Munich have honed some spectacular talents over the years. However, none of them can boast about possessing the flair and trickery that the 21-year-old German sensation, Jamal Musiala, possesses.

Musiala has developed himself into one of Europe’s premier young talents not only through his on-ball proficiency but by also generating goals and assists at a great frequency as exemplified by his 10 goals and 6 assists in the Bundesliga this season.

Excitement about Barcelona’s Spanish Young Talents

Now, the 2023 Golden Boy nominee, has publicized his appreciation for Spain’s young talents mentioning the names of Barca’s most notable emerging talents.

“I think you have some of the best young players in Europe: Lamine, Gavi, although he is injured, Cubarsí… I’ve seen something about Lamine and he looks like an extraordinary player. And then Spain has quality players in the center of the field like Pedri,” Musiala told Marca.

The 21-year-old German sensation did not shy away from acknowledging Pedri’s spectacular qualities, despite being on the winning side against the latter on various occasions in the past seasons

Admitting the depth of Spain’s talent pool, Musiala holds the team in high regard and considers them challengers for the European Championship in Germany this year.

“If you look at its category, Spain is a team that must always be respected,” the 21-year-old claimed.

Admiration for Messi and Neymar

When asked about his idol, Musiala was quick to admit that he was fascinated by Messi growing up. Additionally, he also confessed to being infatuated by Neymar’s trickery of the ball.

“I have admired him (Messi) a lot and he always fascinated me. I grew up watching Leo and Neymar. They were my favorites because they amused me a lot and brought a lot of joy to the game. I always stopped to see them: Leo scoring goals or Neymar doing those tricks with the ball. Then I would go to the garden and try to imitate them. I was always a fan of them.”, the Bayern star said.

This speaks volumes about the impact that one of Barcelona’s most entertaining eras of football had on the talents that are emerging to grace the beautiful game with their presence in the modern day.
