Xavi told Deco he wants Guido for Barca next season
According to Fabrizio Romano, Xavi had suggested Deco to approach Guido, as the manager considered him to be apt for Barca’s plans next season, while also solving the problem of Barca’s lack of defensive midfielders in the squad.
While nothing has officially been signed yet, reports suggest that the Catalans and Guido Rodriguez have reached an agreement on a 2 year deal with the option of an additional year. This would likely make the Argentine International, Barca’s first acquisition in the 2024 summer transfer window.
